Gutter Cleaning
Gutters & downspouts cleared, flushed and checked
A gutter packed with maple leaves does one thing: it overflows. The water runs down the fascia instead of the downspout, soaks the trim and the ends of the rafters, and lands in a pile against the foundation — which is how a job that takes an hour turns into rot repair, a repaint and a damp basement. We clear gutters and downspouts across Stamford, Greenwich, Darien and Norwalk: the debris comes out by hand, the line gets flooded, and the downspout is run until the water leaves fast and clean. Then we tell you what the gutters told us — the run that has lost its spikes, the seam opening up, the pitch holding water two inches deep in October.
Our Process
Set Up
Ladders go on solid ground, and the beds under the line get wetted down first.
Clear
Debris is scooped into buckets and carried off — nothing pushed down the downspout.
Flush
The line is flooded and the downspout run until the water leaves clean and fast.
Report
We show you what we found and what is worth fixing before winter, if anything is.
